Retired Warden Howard Robertson from the New York City Department of Corrections, heads the Airtight Solutions Anti-Violence Program. 

 

Prior to Warden Robertson's retirement, he had care, custody and control over New York's most notorious drug kingpins, murderers and gang members. He was also responsible for overseeing investigations that affected the safety and security of the department.

 

Warden Robertson received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He attended graduate school at Long Island University and received a master of science degree in educacation.

 

Barbara Robertson is a retired New York State Court Officer.

 

Prior to becoming a court officer, Barbara was a United States Customs Inspector and a teacher for the New York City Board of Education. She also held various social work and counseling positions with non-profit organizations. 

 

Barbara Robertson received her undergraduate degree (Cum Laude) from Queens College. She received her master's degree from Long Island University

Areas of Specialty

Specializing in security and rehabilitation. Warden Robertson received the prestigious Commissioners award for implementing a number of programs and security initiatives that significantly reduced the violence at the Adolescent Detention Jail on Rikers Island. He authored numerous institutional orders on rehabilitation, security issues and lectured at the departments training academy on the aforementioned subjects.

Involvement 

Throughout her career, Barbara was involved in volunteer projects that involved counseling our youth and alternative to incarceration programs. 

 

She was recognized for her outstanding service by Hilllary Clinton and former Governor of New York George Pataki. 

Current Focus

Warden Robertson's focus is now on keeping our youth out of gangs, away from drugs, reducing violence and motivating them to become successful in life.
